This is the smart we're getting in the US.
70 hp inline 3 cylinder, normally aspirated (no turbo, as previously rumored). Much nicer than the 1st gen. Base model starts under $12k US, cabrio under $17k US. It's cute, no doubt, but a niche car because of its size VS its price tag. Very bad move, IMHO. They're going to have a hard enough time just convincing Americans it's safe to drive on the highway, but then to charge a premium for it? I want one, but not for that price. Found out that the only dealer in Georgia will be a Mercedes dealer out of Atlanta (only 60 dealers slated nationwide). I'm betting each scheduled service includes a bottle of personal lubricant.  ~YR
