Finally!...

...i got someone to wave back at me! i've seen about five or six Yarii in my area since buying( all LB, not that it makes a difference... ), and i always drive along-side to wait and make eye-contact so i can give the yaris wave. and NO ONE LOOKS UP!!!! but today i saw this older lady with exactly the same car and i was determined to get my wave! so i drove up beside her and i paced her for about a block and a half. she finally looked up, saw our beautiful matching cars, and gave me the thumbs up! success!

lol.....great response

i had this fat biach in a black yaris, i waved at her (i was sitting on the curb with a friend) when the lights turned green she stuck out her middle finger at me....so i threw a piece of boneless kfc chicken at her car, the chicken hit the back of the car and left a oily mark but i dont think she heard it.

After seeing the greasy stain, you're lucking the fat biach didn't turn around and steal the rest of your kfc.

Oh sure right! You're one of those people that probably tells Sedan jokes and then says, "Don't get me wrong; some of my best friends are Sedan drivers." when if fact, you don't even know one Sedan owner. Am I right? Yeah I thought so. LOL!

WTF is wrong with people these days?

Since she was a phat biotch, maybe she thought you were making phun of her phat ass...

I don't bother waving at other Yaris owners, but I would certainly smile and wave back!

i know how you feel. when i see another Yaris i'm all, "wooo, hey....over here. hi!" and no one looks up. i gave a thumbs up to some dude who was trying a black Yaris and he just looked at me funny.

I commute down I-75 2x times per week to downtown ATL. Most days I run up on a blue liftback that is a courier (he has a magnetic sign on his doors). I honk at him and he always honks back. He gives me the thumbs up always!

Ill miss seeing him in the mornings after I move.

Out where I live in the sticks ive seen a couple of Yarii, I wave but total ignorance on the other drivers part. Its not like im hanging my head out the window with my tongue out or anything....Oh well not many people can say theyve been waved at by redyaris!

There was one guy coming out of a parking lot while I was driving in that started waving at me with a big smile on his face. I smiled and waved back. This was before there were many on the road, yet. I've never tried initiating a wave, though.

Waving at me? Hell no~~ If I look at another same Vitz around me, I would say "damn... another cheap dude driving a cheap car!"

Yup, I agree it is a nice car, but I only want me to have it!

After 4 months and 11,000 miles....talked to another LB owner. I've only seen this one once (from a couple blocks away) and met a couple sedans on the road.....anyway she pulled in behind me at the gas pump. Talked for a few minutes, I'm the 1st LB she's seen on the road since she bought hers last summer (and 13,000 mile later). I guess we're a rare breed in pickup/suv land. Mentioned YW to her.... so if she's checking it out (and reading this) Hi again!

Around here it's like a scene played right out of "Major Tom", it's a very lonely place . If your ever in my neck of the woods I'd give ya wave.
