That was his very first drive, still getting used to the clutch (it has a very small sweet spot). We're getting better at it though!

An update, after some issues with the engine, it was rebuilt and had to be broken in again before a proper tune could be applied... and this is the result:

so when you originally installed it had not been rebuilt correct? this is the first rebuild?

no actually it wasn't really tuned properly, and I had another incident of water ingestion :( so we went for a clean slate

OP, would there be any fitment issues if I were to ever consider throwing in a 4A-GE into my 2009 hatch? Did you have to notch the frame or firewall in anyway to get the engine to fit? Did you have to fabricate custom motor mounts or can you actually purchase them from somewhere to fit 4A-GE into the NCP91?

In a nutshell, the whole thing doesn't fit... Frame rails went on a slimming diet, stock C50 gearbox had to be kept too, as the 4A-GE's was just too wide... Firewall was not touched though (would need to be if we had kept the original supercharger) They did a great job, but it certainly isn't for the fainthearted.

Had I known it would take so much work to fit it, I should have gone with a 3S-GTE hahaha
