I believe the sound is metal on metal!
I have a feeling that's what it is, I bent the piece back a bit and it helped. I'll have to take the wheel off again and bend it a bit more, hope that will fix it. I

Turned out it was both the brake dust shield and the inner wheel well. For some reason the front part of the inner wheel well was bent inwards, so I bent it back. No more issues with rubbing!!

Now I've measured the distance between when center of the wheel to the fender on the front wheels and I see about a 3mm difference. Should I be concerned?

I bought these springs used - maybe it sagged more on the driver side because the previous owner rode solo?
