Do not cut your bump stops with the NF210s. I didn't cut mine and everything is perfect.
The drop isn't low enough to where you need to cut them.

I don't know much about all this, but I do know one thing, and probably another too:
use better tools! haha & the white portion looks like polyurethane, you probably wouldn't be able to cut that cleanly at the suggested size, so they probably mentioned to go all the way down under it. I think keeping the poly might be a good thing, but idk. you can always take more off later |

you need more leverage, and spray the bolt with some penetrating oil.
I'd use a steel pipe on the end of your socket wrench to get more leverage, should be much easier. BTW I used #2 for my bumpstop. |

^ yes, but you need an OFFSET box wrench to do it. If you use a power tool, you'll have to take all that apart.

I'd probably go with Brian's advice and leave the bump stops as is. The NF really isn't an aggressive drop.

use this type of wrench when loosening those bolts. if you need you can grab a pipe and slide it over the for more leverage.

for me, the key to the install was having the right tools. i purchased an offset box wrench from sears hardware(craftsman) for less than $20. it was 17mm on one side and 19mm on the other so i used that one tool most the time. also, i needed a 6mm allen key(the 'L' shaped kind - i had a multi-key style already, but couldn't get the angle to work right. any metric allen key set should have a 6mm in it, just be sure it's the 'L' style). for the df's i used part #2 only and the rest of the bumpstops are in my box with the stock springs. 1 week later, it rides great and looks killer! good luck.
