there is a formula that helps estimate the amount of downforce created. i think you just need surface area and speed to estimate.
the only problem is that is only really helpful if you know what the numbers are to begin with. i doubt there is alot of aero info on the yaris :) If you look at designs similiar to ours, the faster you go, the greater the LIFT generated. This lift is usually higher in the front and lower in the rear. Just as example: At 100 mph, the front end is seeing 50 lbs of lift while the rear is seeing 25 lbs of lift. Make sense? so a splitter that neutralizes that extra lift at speed would be pretty helpful for front to rear balance. Really helpful if you are doing track days and putting triple digit speeds down. A car like ours will never really make alot in the way of downforce, the goal is more like reducing lift. Another example, the GTR has pretty good aero treatment, the result? A reduction in lift! It is almost a zero lift vehicle, pretty tough for a road car to accomplish.
