splitter: made it myself

24" x 96" ABS plastic $75
roll of plastic door trim $10
APR stainless splitter supports $60
screws, rear straps etc $5
labor

rough cut with a Dremel nibbler, shaped with a flat file. self tapping screws underneath, and two rear metal straps to to hold the back rigid. It's about 16" deep.

nice. all except the sheetmetal screws...i'd have used push pins or tape. but nice either way. you got under-body pic?

that wouldn't hold it on very well, especially at higher speeds.

the strut supports are the sexy part, gotta have 'em!

They also allow tuning of the front angle of the splitter.

push pins hold the bumper on, the headlights in, the wheel wells in place...door panels...have you tried taking off the door panels? it's a pain.

any way, i'm talkin the ones with the button in the middle that forces the tips apart, it'd hold.

any way, looks good. i'm thinkin i may do somethin like that now. specially seein how cheap it actually is.

I gotcha. "push pins" also hold paper to a bulletin board, I was a little confused there.

Those would work, I think; they're nice and flat, too.

hahaha, that's what I thought he meant too, and then when he said tape I had this picture of someone using tacks and scotch tape to do body work on their car...
