That might help, but based on what others are saying above, it sounds like the trunk really needs something to be added to assist the torsion bars.

For all of those that have the same problem that i had with my trunk i think i found a solution to it but it's a 2 man job
I recently purchase a new set of torsion bar to replace the ones that i had on and when i change them the results were even worse that the ones that was on already so here's what i did You're going to need to lap the torsion bar twice around each other instead of the one that u usually do when you replace it , Then you're going to have to try n put it back in in place that's the hard part and there you're going to need someone to hold the trunk up for you while you fight with the torsion bar At first it's going to seem impossible but it's possible i'm going to post some pictures so that you can see what i'm talking about |
