Would the shop that did that Yaris be willing to take on a hatchback? I'd love to have a Megan header and race cat with high-flow exhaust, and that's really some quality work!

Looks good, I like the sound too!
Ever think of getting a longer first resonator/muffler? That might help break up some of the droning...

my original plan was to use a HushPower in the middle, but i have a million other things that need money first, so i used what i had...the 2 borlas used to be in a rear section that i had for my scion...i had 3 different rear sections to go with a custom front section

the exhaust isn't really that loud, so i'm not going to bother with it for a while

That's a different setup than you have in the video... any vids of that?
I was thinking of doing something very similar in my Echo.

Also, do you have any relatively inexpensive sources for 1.75" v-band flange kits?

that was one my scion

i was showing where my resonators came from...& actually they originally came off a 2 week old Borla exhaust for a 350z

i tend to keep stuff thats in good shape (which i why i have 38 mufflers in my shed & 4 next to my toolbox)

You'd start loosing power with an unmodified motor. And by unmodified I mean serious power adders.

2" is a perfect match for these motors to develop a good peak velocity that broadens the torque range

i could by looking @ the pics of how the heat is dispersed, drop down to 1.75" after the first resonator & probably see no difference in power output

Well thanks for the heads up man. I got a friend down in Towson near Baltimore with an 86 rolla, when I got the spare change I'll bring down a header and muffler and let you set up a sweet low-restriction 2" exhaust with racing cat, ok? :)

No resonators for me. I like it LOUD. :D

i drive a certain way & take a certain route to work to allow me pretty much coast almost the first half of my trip to work ( i have a 45mile commute one way)

so for like the first 15miles i'm on back roads coasting as much as i can & of course keeping speeds down

my current tank is probably going to be low to mid 40s, i've been driving fast & using a/c...since i'm in the middle of some body work on my tercel...i have to take out my speed aggressions on the yaris, lol
