Toad: I think that picture is misleading. I would bet the are the same as the Hella style.

2mtech: you really need to do some research on this. There are a lot of posts describing. The aftermarket kit can include a hatch pop and a key fob that will POP it. Iirc no Yaris in the states has factory trunk/hatch release from fob. Then again I have a sedan, so maybe you have a button on the hatch to press to open and you can lock/unlock from there with a key? All it is to make the hatch do what you want is one extra actuator and wiring.

With mine, the trunk has to be a separate button or when I unlock, the trunk would POP too which wouldn't be cool. Please search tho and you'll find the droids you are looking for.

Umm...'scuse me sir. The woman's Yaris is white. I put up with the same pains and agony you do with my black one.

Mine's right, yours is left. I think "Midnight Drifter" (might be wrong on his name) was in the middle.

On topic, OP: I agree with what most of the others have said. Start at the top and work your way down, because those little things that are $10-20 or so tend to get in the way of plunking down $400 on big stuff. I use my stereo the most, so that's what I would go with as the top priority but those taillights are pretty bitchin'. I wish they made something for the hatches like that.

And if you're ever down here near the beach, definitely let me know. I'm pretty swamped up with pharmacy internship and flu shot season is about to be in full swing but I'm all for joining up with the tiny Yarii clique we have.

Look at that 3 Yari in a row........I am amazed at how hard it is to get more than that together at one time....lol....think the most we ever got was 7 in PNW and one was on a trailer(DRift Yaris)......

The Tanabe is a great not so loud can to put on....stay away from GReddy Ti.....it is loud and drones, even with all my deadening it drones, midpipe helped a lot with the drone amazingly enough.....
