Devil horn emblems

i just private messaged the guy on tundratalk about the emblems. i told him to contact me via my personal email, about wanting some and how quite a few people here on yarisworld are interested in getting some of these emblems. so lets see where this goes.

I remember seeing chrome vinyl horn stickers that you could add to the existing badge, which would be a lot easier than trying to modify the back of a replacement badge to make it fit.

i seen those also on ebay, they look quite cheesy. i myself would prefer a real badge

This type of emblem has been approved for a small production under direct permission from Toyota Motor Company's Legal Department under certain rules and conditions.

... so I highly doubt that their lawyers would just willy-nilly approve some guy on the internet to modify their logo.

out of curiosity what does it matter if he has a seal of approval or not? i don't believe toyota authorizes quite a different companies to sell anything with their logo or not. but they still do sell items....i'm not getting into the legal matters or anything like that, but i would just like to buy a emblem from someone who can make them. im sure others are interested as well.

whoever said in the 1st page that they contacted a specific guy about these emblems, it might be a different guy who makes them

It really doesn't matter to me. I'm not going to buy one.

I know that there are tons of people out there that make Toyota labeled merchandise out there, 5 seconds on eBay would tell me that. And I'm not going to do anything about it, nor do I care about it.

Hell, Garm has his skull Toyota emblem and I'm not up in arms about it. But, he doesn't run around claiming that Toyota gave him special permission to break their own internal style guide.

I'm sorry, but I find it a little odd that there is that claim about those devil horn emblems. Just my two cents.

The guy i contacted was selling them for 60-90 depending on finish...maybe he didnt realize you already had a price list floating around? I'm pretty sure it's the same guy/thread/forum.

as for you Garm, i notice you tend to try and push your products throughout every thread you comment on. this is already the second thread i made that i can remember, and your just trying to push your items.... im not selling anything but for future references, i think i can speak for everyone. dont try and peddle your things, when the topic at hand has nothing to do with what you sell....

as for this specific item, i know you don't sell it but are you worried about someone else taking business from you ? don't worry dude there's plenty of people on this forum as well as the other forums you advertise on that you can continue to sell your stuff.

He is one of a select group of official sponsors, so as far as I'm concerned this is a completely legitimate way to sell stuff on the forums. Plus he doesn't do it on every thread, jeez...

I love my Yaris, but honestly I really can't think of something that I have wasted money to that tune on mine and I have dropped a great deal of cash on my sedan.

Perhaps this will persuade you to take up your own personal issues via PM instead of in the wide out open after someone has gotten iritated with you not only whining about it on not only this thread, but creating another dedicated one for all to see.

Thanks for letting me know who I will not want to have as a customer for sure...I would hate to sell my products to you seeing as how you support our current vendors.

so let him support this community..... i'll choose to spend my hard earned money which ever way i please. as for me buying mods for my yaris, i havent done so yet. but i will definetly think twice before dropping a penny to ANYONE whom is a vendor on this forum.

not at all..... 2 of my threads, you were quick to respond but when you responded, all i seen was you sell this or you sell that.... if i wanted to buy something from you i would have contacted you first. what i wanted were people opinions or ideas if they used a specific item... not your item.

the guy just emailed me again today, and said he was interested in possibly becoming a vendor, he also had a punisher type emblem as well.

Once again whom ever is interested please do let me know id like to get a headcount. he said a price for one would be $120 or less depending of the amount of people that want them.

this guy works with real metals, not that plastic crap or stickers. so i think the price sounds reasonable to me at least.
