I'll not make an official guess, but the fact that it has "tooter" engraved on it has to be worth at least +5hp. Looks great and I really like that you did engrave your moniker on it.

The idea of a "tooter" intake manifold made me laugh, so I had it added to the flange.

My only concern for the intake not possibly performing as good asnit can is the maf location. I think with it having basically no straight ahead or prior to it wont allow laminar flow to develop as strong as it would with a longer intake.

Of course i know there is no real easy way around it...without custom work

I know... and I'll soon find out.
I'm already relying heavily on the oversized velocity stack to smooth the flow to the MAF...

It's been working great just like this...

Some of the shortening will also be behind the MAF as the intake port extends down into the inside of the manifold...

One advantage is that everything is in a straight line... it's just going to be a really short one!

Don't hold your breath...

It won't be until next week as we're entertaining this weekend and I have a really busy work week coming up. The part should arrive today to shorten the intake.

That reminds me... what's going on with your manifolds, Garm?

Found a picture of Richard Holdener's manifold.

And his before and after dyno runs... WOW! pretty impressive!

Just read the whole Richard Holdener thread. Wow... what a saga.

And it couldn't be produced even at $699 a pop!!!

I'm beginning to understand why even though I did absolutely NO engineering R & D on mine. With all of his extensive high performance automotive expertise and having tried more than 50 manifold configurations before coming up with one that produced consistent gains, makes it even more unlikely that mine will produce any performance gains at all! The tooter manifold is a total crapshoot!

The dyno graph isn't showing up on your screen? If it doesn't, the graph showed that the Holdener manifold was +13 +4. That's highly significant improvement.

I'd be ecstatic if mine netted a fifth of those gains.
