i have metal based tint with a glass mounted antenna, with no issues at all. In my S10 I did have trouble with my car alarms receiver, it seriously reduced the range that i could remote start or disable the alarm.

Hmmm.....just a question ~

What is the Darkest legal tint allowed in US or where ever you are?

Australia is 35% ~ I was quoted $249 for my tint.......(Mind you.....that's in Australian dollars).....that's for all the windows except the front and I've booked in and getting it done in March ~ That's the cheapest I have found and he showed me the tint and stuff ~

Can't wait for my Yaris to get tinted ~ It's white.....but still gets quite hot >_< ~

Paid $140 for mine and he came to me :) Limo on the HB and back sides and 40% on the front two including the small ones on the front. Looks nice I think. Lifetime warranty and he said it was not an issue to use the defroster.
