Just use the link, sign up and pay, you're in as far as I know.

^ You can make any parts you want. A flange for the head isn't proprietary, and neither is a TB adaptor. The manifold itself was designed by Toyota. I personaly wouldn't copy the parts because of (1) professional courtesy, (2) such a small market, and (3) it doesn't make power (that part is just an educated guess at this point).

An intake to go with what tooter made would be really cool and complementary.

It sure isn't, Garm.
The guys from Puerto Rico did it first. All I did was have the parts made to do what they did.

And I'm relying heavily on them having done a good job of it.
You know, this would have been a serious problem if they were still making those manifolds, but since they're all at least decade-old junk yard parts and have long since been rendered obsolete by plastic manifolds, they've sort of fallen into the public domain.

I've already been driving the car a lot... and am pretty certain that the torque curve is going to have some ups and downs! And I still don't know about the top end because of the T shirt issue.

Hey, are you or Jeff going to be around the shop Saturday morning?

If you have a black 2.5 inch silicone 90 degree connector, I'll drop by and buy one from you. The Post office is clueless as to what happened to the shipment. the tracking number shows acceptance of the parcel, but there is no electronic information after that. It's not the ebay sellers fault either. The guy has been both responsive and communicative.

I do too! That's a super idea.

^ I might well be around tomorrow morning. Might be racing, though. Email me at mcroimg@gmail.com so we can communicate that way -- I don't access the forums from my phone.

Just got back from test running the final air filter setup and the car runs great!

I was concerned that the MAF signalling might be impaired from cutting and trimming everything on the intake so dang short, but no CEL was triggered so it's good. There is absolutely no wiggle room for that giant air filter, and I'm sure glad that those silicone couplings are flexible because it wouldn't be there if they weren't.

We'll be there before you know it...

I picked Thursday because it will be the coolest day of the coming week with morning clouds and a high of 87.

The peak temprature doesn't hit until about 2 to 3 in the afternoon. I'm the first run scheduled at 11:00 in the morning when it should still be slightly overcast with temps in the high 70's...

...which is similar to the conditions of the baseline dyno runs which were 78 degrees and 45% humidity.
