So that the conditions today will be as close as possible to the baseline dyno runs of 78 degrees and 45% humidity.

^ I'd say you have about 39 pages worth of thread to read.

I'm anxiously waiting for this one. hoping the low end and mid power band doesn't suffer.

guess I'm the odd man out. I absolutely refuse to lose low-end torque for high end gains. I like my torque to jump off the line. I do mostly city driving so I like having that oomph to take off from stop lights.

yup. that's also why I just ordered the lightweight crank pulley from you, want to free up some torque.

OK guys... the suspense is finally over.
The tooter manifold is officially all show and no go.

Here's the results for the wagering pool:

+1 peak horsepower -1 peak torque

Now who's going to break the news to Billiam that he didn't win!

While the peaks were very close, the tooter gave up performance everywhere else except for a few places. I'll post the graph when I get in from work this evening.

What, only +1hp/-1tq... What about all of the glowing reviews from your butt dyno.

Psycological like most butt dynos.

That's too bad tooter. Was really hoping for something atleast on par to what CAI/SRI gives.

Now bling that sucker up and bask in your sculpture.

It was a good effort. If someone isn't the first to try, and often fail, we never learn.

It's ok... I can handle a little ridicule, Jason.
Remember that the dyno runs are at wide open throttle and I don't normally drive at wide open throttle. I just drive like a regular transportation driver. And at under partial throttle conditions and low rpms the tooter manifold does perform great. In fact that was one of the things I was most concerned about, whether it would be driveable under normal everyday conditions.

I still need a few more fillups with the tooter to get an accurate comparison to the baseline gas mileage average.
