The side markers are a safety thing.

Yes but strangely enough, go look around at pics of the stock USDM sedan... no side markers!

And a lot of US cars still have red rear turn signals that are impossible to see, What's your point?

But you can see the front turn signals on the sedan from the side:

Not so with the liftback.

it was LED light, but slightly not fit for the mirror, without any screw hole to fix the mirror assembly. so i dont know how to do.

I've haven't put them on since I've been lazy~ anyone interested in buying them off me? They're black.

i got the same Mirror covers and the clips or about an inch off any suggestions for this problem. are the mirrior covers the same for the sedn and LB??

The clips do not work with USDM cars. You have to snip them off and attach the mirrors with silicone instead.

Thanks to etimago for this how-to, it helped me a lot!

I was swapping the red mirror caps for matte black ones and used this as a guide. Passenger side went AOK, and the drivers side, not so well. I pulled on the drivers side mirror glass a little too close to the edges and it shattered the mirror. Now it's time to play "find the part number". If anyone knows the part number, or has drivers side glass for a Yaris LB sitting around, let me know.

Edit: I bought a piece of replacement glass of EBay cut to the Yaris size (sticks in the same place the OEM glass was taped). $20, we'll see how nice it is when it arrives.
