Yeah I’m sure there’s a couple sizes that would end up similar enough in diameter that could work just like you pointed out. Good luck hunting!

Well it will be a little longer before I get the front done. I had my CRV V-TEC shit the bed on the drive home from NH last night and it is in the garage waiting on a new Actuator valve and it won't be out of there until that arrives Friday or Sat.

Oh awesome. I’m thinking with just the xD suspension and fender cutting I should be able to fit 27” all terrains. Good to know the whole strut assembly from the xD will bolt into the Yaris. I’ve searched high and low for used xD springs, the stealership wants so much I could likely just but a new set of struts and rear springs/shocks. Thanks for the info!

Can’t wait to see how the front lift goes for you, that things going to be a BEAST when it’s done!

Well lift version 2.0 is in and seems good. I'll drive it for a few days to be sure, Next I need to find a used tire in the same or close to same size to try mounting and check for clearance etc. there was a full 1.5" after the lift was installed and waiting to see if there is any settling etc. Only thing I notice is the steering is a little heavier but not bad really, I actually prefer it now as before the electric assist was too much, now it seems better. I can actually feel the height change sitting in the car too which could just be in my head LOL.

Baja Yaris

Looks like it’s coming along nicely! I totally get what you mean about “feeling” it when you sat in the car. When I went from 175/65r14 to 185/75r15 tires I could even feel the tiny amount of tire lift I got.

I think I have an old 14" tire or two lying around. Might be an opportunity to go for a day trip and check out the current state of the turbo Yaris.

Love to see the turbo in person, but do you have a 27" tire? I have 2 sets of 185/65/14 but need the 27"x8.5" 14 to check clearances

Ah, that I don't have. My apologies for not reading carefully enough. That will be one mean looking rig.

Well Still waiting to sell the CRV wheels and tires or my Winter wheels and tires. I am not getting any bites on them at all. I need them to sell soon as my rear tires are at 1/32 above the tread indicators. I really want to get the grabbers installed on this thing to finish the project.

It's not easy selling rims and tires. Especially if they're less than 75% tread and the rims aren't perfect. And even then you almost have to give them away.

My project is on hold cause there's 2 other vehicles to focus on for summer. Once august/September rolls around I'll get back to the lift kit. I have everything finished and already picked up the 2" wheel spacers. Just need to bolt it all on, get the tires mounted and aligned.

Nice. The wheels I have are chrome alloys and are 1300 new the tires are at 40% and worth 600 new. Im asking 500. But they are a -1 size for crv/rav4/Rogue etc and folks dont get you can put a 16" wheel on a car that came with 17" and get better tire life. Perfect wheels for winter setup

Are you able to measure the inside diameter of bottom rear spring to try too find a proper lift spacer? And the diameter size of the rubber top plate. I check to sens draw of everything to a machine shop to made something similar to kanook lift sx4
