Got my new '10 Yaris

Well I go my car on Sunday, not just got to wait for Toyota Motor Credit to send my bank the title. Since I paid off the owners loan, it's a little harder to get the paper work straight to get tags and register the car with the state. Well I can still enjoy the XM satilite radio and think about the mods I want to perform, with the help of Micro Image of coarse. This car already has one piece of Micro Image goodness on it, in the form of the under pan addition. The previous owner said the under tray gave him 1 1/2-3 mpg better fuel economy and he recorded an average of 40.6 over the last 6 fill-ups.

Her is my Blazin' Blue Yaris in all it's glory.........First picture is the under pan with it's 1/4 turn fasteners showing!!

cool

I would ditch that xm sell it on eBay,I don't see why pay for radio with free stuff like slacker and Pandora on smartphones,I personally put in a hd radio, and if you sell it you could get enough money to get a nice hd radio then no monthly fee. Then tint it,cat back it,a nice k&n filter, maybe a sub and amp then wheels.Parts are cheap for the car.But they can also be expensive if you buy all the best stuff.I went cheap and I'm happy and would do it all again.lol

The XM is a longer term contract that the previous owner threw in for no charge, might concider something different later. As for now, he also installed a iPod/Zune hook-up in a hidden cubby hole so I've got that too.

Oh and believe me the thoughts of mods are already dancing in my head. I haven't owned and raced about 10 different imports for nothing, love to modify my toys.

Well my title finally came today, so I can pick up my tag for the Yaris tomorrow. Going to celibrate by driving down to the water front restaurant near Bald Head Island and treat myself to a big old plate of fresh caught seafood!! Then just drive around to show off my new ride.........

I'm happy for you, racer...

It's a good sign that the previous owner was proud of getting good mileage. That means that the car was not abused and likely well maintained.
