WTS: Runstop rear disk brake conversion kit

I bought a rear disk brake conversion kit from vten in April of 2013. It's still in the box he shipped it to me in. I figure with it being 3 years and I still haven't touched it, it's probably time to just let it go. Asking $350 + shipping. It's at my parents house, I'll be going by there tomorrow and can get some pictures of it.

EDIT: Adding pictures. Pads look good. Rotors have some rust but don't look bad. I'd recommend getting them surfaced but you could probably sandpaper them down. Kit looks to be complete from what I can tell. I didn't unwrap the other caliper because it was packed up pretty nice.

Is it even possible to rebuild these? Like can you get parts at all?

Do we even know how to get replacement rotors, pads, caliper seals if any isn't working? Like what model did these orgininally come off? I know Micro Image and the Thailand guy were selling these, but leaving everybody in the dark as far as replacement parts to keep a "trade secret" that isn't even for sale any longer is just assinine......

*This is my opinion, not a reflection upon Micro Image or the Thailand guy, but an update for replacement parts would be nice.......

I have no idea. The calipers are Brembo so I would think they still make them/pads for them but I've never tried to contact anyone at Runstop or Brembo about it. I just opened the box for the first time the other day.

That's just a sticker that someone prior to you applied to the caliper. Here is what a new RunStop caliper looked like.

Good to know nonetheless.

Anybody interested in this just make an offer. I'm never going to use it.

If the rust is bothering anyone the pictures make the rotors look a lot worse than they are. The rust on the surface of the rotors is just cosmetic. I'd turn them anyway just because they're used and I don't know how they were treated before I got em. Little time with a wire wheel would clean the rest of the parts up easy enough.

Like I said, make an offer if you're interested.

Eh, not gonna go that low. I'm gonna poke around and see if I can figure out what sort of calipers/etc. this kit can be refreshed with. When I get some time I'll see if I can clean up the rust as well.

Do these need a different rear axle from oem to make it work or are they bolt on?

Bolt on. That pic I have posted up there earlier is from an install thread created by eTiMaGo. Check it out if you are curious.

Hmm, these look more appealing now...now to find $200 that I don't have lol

Edit: damn just realized I need 15mm rims (winters are 14") and I don't need disc brakes bad enough to deal with bending brake line etc.

$200 is a great deal though
