Punching Air Box Holes
I've seen threads claiming that punching a couple of holes in the bottom of the stock box will add a minor amount of hp along with a satisfying growl on acceleration.
Question 1: Does this void the factory warranty? Question 2: Doesn't adding holes to the bottom of the box allow for engine heat to be sucked in instead of cooler air? Wouldn't it be smarter to punch the holes in the front part of the box that faces the front grille? |
