makes a very valid point. I keep forgetting that for some reason.. I havent done that yet because I need to keep the Cat on for my class.. ONE day I will drop it off at a exhaust shop and have them weld a pipe in from Cat to axle.

keep the stock cat and res, theyre 2" thru

just cut off the rear which is 1.75" and get something fatter

or this: (see red line for exhaust path)

thanks.. i was gonna drop the res. but if it is 2" anyways, why not keep it..

and according to your diagram.. you want me to put a side exhaust?

Id shop around.. Obviously that shop doesn't like custom work nor wants to make a profit.. Somebody will man up and do it. Find another muffler shop
