Lug Nut / Wheel Fitment Advice
I am trying to install Circuit Performance 15 x 6.5 alloys on my 2008 Hatchback. They didn't fit because of the center bore. I ordered aluminum Hub Centric Rings 73.1mm outer and 54.1mm inner. Is that all I will need now for a snug fit? Or will they also need aftermarket lug nuts? I have the stock lug nuts that are used for the steelies at the moment and would like to use those if possible. Thanks for the advice.

Update: The wheel manufacturer recommended me some specific ones that I just ordered. Will update again when I try to install them.

Get aftermarket lug nuts.
Tuner lug nuts more specifically.

typicaly speaking steel wheel nuts will useualy have a different taper to mag nuts, but its not always the case and can vary wheel to wheel, if the wheels have a steel cone in them they are often made to use a steel wheel nut, if they are raw coned aluminum then they useualy need a wide flange mag nut
but everything changes wheel to wheel manufacturer to manufacturer...more often than not you cant even take their word for it and need to check once you have the wheels in hand |
