what are those flaps for with the velcro on the bottom?
I have a 2010 Yaris, 5 door Hatchback.
When you open the trunk there is the lid that conceals anything in the trunk when the hatch is closed. But what are those two long carpetlike flaps with the velcro for? Are they used to hide more stuff? I actually flipped them over and stuck them to the back of the rear seat. For the life of me I can't figure out if they serve a purpose. |

The velcro is meant to stick to the back of the seat. If you move the rear seat(s) forward those "flaps" will cover/hide what you have back there.
