Most of those generic mud flaps will work if you don't mind screwing into your splash guards. If you want a bolt-in solution you'll need to get more creative.

Yes. Very easy to install. OEM ftw.

Just experienced aftermarket splash guards on a Buick; lots of drilling, took a lot longer to install and looked kinda crappy when finished.

OEM FTW! I purchased mine from TRDsparks, but ebay works great too. Fits nice, easy to install. Was my first mod. I like the black on silver look (and not chipping) so I left mine unpainted.

I have the OEM one's too.
Don't buy PepBoys Generic stuff. The real Toyota one's fit perfectly.
My car is Meteorite too. Looks fine in black, I would'nt paint 'em...

I am thinking of getting a set of the OEM mud guards as mentioned above.
Is there anything that has to be done to prevent rust when attaching these?
Should something be put on the screws after installing to keep them from rusting?
Or is this not a problem?

Where they screw into is all plastic, as they attach to the rear bumper, as opposed to the fender.

No need to get Pep Boys stuff when the OEM mudguards are so inexpensive!

my factory flaps are more for appearance than function. My rear window still gets covered quickly with back spray on wet roads as does the cars sides just as before I installed them.

I would 100% stick with oem flaps vs Those things that look like garbage truck mud guards.
Trust me on this...
