How tall is this area in the cluster circuit board?
I hate clocks... especially when I am driving. I don't like to think about the time.
Therefore, I want to drill out the spot where my clock is and pop a tachometer in there. But, I just wanted to know how big I would be able to go. Does anybody know how tall this spot is? I'm not totally in the mood to go tearing up my cluster just yet. =/

Also, anyone know something similar to this... but umm, not $150.00? Why are tachometers so expensive?

I used a nice $35.00 tach from Summit Racing. It's only 2 1/16".
Would highly recommend it. =) |
