Thanks, the more I look at them, the more I like them. I don't like seeing the rear drum brakes though.

Hmmm , nice mags ,HMMMMMM Kumo tyres , how do you find the road noise From those.
Just paint your drums to match the colour of the wheels ,(magic paint, they will dissappear)

My first impression is that the road noise is lower and the ride is less harsh.

Is that reality or my mind saying "you just dumped a boatload of money on wheels and tires so they must feel better!"

I think the lighter wheels are allowing the the suspension to react to the road surface faster without transmitting much of the movement to the rest of the car. I believe that is what is supposed to happen when you lower your unsprung weight.

The previous suspension mods have improved cornering so much already that I may have to wait until the next autocross to see if the tires add one more dimension of lateral grip.

I purposefully bought a sticky tire so I'm willing to accept the shorter lifespan.

Nice good quality light rims, shitty ass tires. I take it back. if you need a long wearing tire they are o.k. Usually you see a 50 to 200 treadwear tire on those rims.

IMHO, You will love to look at them even more after some tire shine on the tire.

Ok, but after next weekend's Autocross. I like the raw rubber look for the track. After the race, I can make her look pretty and shiny.
