Narrower european double DIN surround plastic

This was discussed before, but I can't find the post. I think it was pre-hack.

The European Yaris's double DIN is narrower - I think only when it comes with TomTom. Anywho, I called my Toyota dealer and asked about it. He did a quick search and came up with, "Overseas makert: Insrument cluster center, S-package, convenience package, for 2009. Part number 5540552780." And the same thing bassically for a 2008, part number 5540552640.

He said they'd be about $85.00, and that there are only 4 in the country, in California.

Anywho, I know people were trying to find a part number for this item. Does this help? Can anyone find out if this is the right thing?

So your Toyota dealer can order the double din shroud (w/ 180mm opening)?:

Setup a group buy then because there are alot of people that want this!

Well, part number 55405-52640 has been discussed here before. Looks like it's the regular bezel for the sedan.

As for part number 55405-52780, I can't find anything on it (even w/ Google).

The part numbers in my post (post #4) right above yours are the same ones you posted.
55405-52640 (the non integrated bezel for the sedan)
55405-52780 (can't find any reference to this anywhere)

They just have the hyphen in them so they're formatted the way Toyota formats them.

Oh you mean there are physically only two of that part number in existence in North America? Who has them?

I'd like to order one if it is the 180mm bezel for the LB.

Correct. The guy I talked to said they were somewhere in California, and if I wanted it he could just order it. I assume you can just call your local Toyota dealership and have the parts people order it for you.

I'm not gonna blow $85.00 bucks on a maybe... I'm not sure if it's the right part we're all thinking of.

I'll go to my dealer then and ask about it. You're not really blowing $85 since if it's not the right part, they can give you a refund right there.

Oh hmm, I was told they don't do refunds at all - but that was when I asked about the heater/ac controls, which are electrical parts. I don't think they let you return electrical things.

Go for it then bro!

No good - I just looked both up in the EPC, and both are sedan parts. The 55405-52780 is for the Sedan S.
