Corolla shifter on Yaris?

I'm looking for a shift knob for my Yaris to replace our stock one, and I didn't want to get too far from OEM at the moment.

My friend has a new Corolla XRS and the knob on it is pretty awesome.

Example:

Does anyone know if it'll fit on our shifter shafts?

The auto knob doesn't fir the Yaris.

Tried to take the knob off my dad's '09 corolla and no go... the yaris one fits on the corolla, but not vice-versa.

Not related at all, but I felt like I could throw that in.

If it's your friend's car, why not just take it of and give it a go. Will take all of 5 minutes to check it out. Good luck. It looks good.

Argggh, yeah that's what I wanted to do too, but by time I thought about it he had driven back down to Southern California. (Alicia Viejo)

TWM sent me my order confirmation email at the same moment I was writing this post, so I stopped to read it and had shifter on the brains. Whoops!

The XRS is leather wrapped as well, which is why I want it. It'll go well with my leather shift boot cover.
