Paint mirror covers?

Of course I am now regretting not picking up an RS version but I am now wondering how much it would be (approx) to get the mirror covers painted to match the rest of the car? Has anyone had this done?

That's not too bad.

I don't know if I would be able to find any at the local scrap yard since we barely have any Yarii here in town. So just getting them painted would be easier.

what color is your car? you could consider replacing them for some pre-painted covers with LED indicator repeaters!

sorry to hijack the thread ^ it's sorta related. newb post. sorry but I'm just wondering about getting my mirror out, someone/thing broke it. the glass just fell out but there is still a panel left on inside the cover. does that just pull off? I read a DIY thread that mentions just pushing the top of the mirror in and pulling the bottom but it feels like a clip or something is holding it and going to break if I just PULL it off. any help? the scrap yard wants to sell me the entire cover.

yup, just push on the top a bit hard (if you have power mirrors it will click-click-click until it stops moving)

then slip your other fingers under the mirror and pull it out toward you. The clips are a bit tight but don't worry about it
