YAOBTD (yet another one bites the dust)
I totalled my '09 Carmine red hatchback tonight. A patch of black ice on a twisty mountain road caused me to fishtail & lose control before slamming into a guardrail and rolling over onto the drivers side.
About half an hour before the accident I pulled over and got pissed because I stepped in some gum and it was all over my floor mat. I guess I won't have to worry about that now! On a side note......I did manage to go 502 miles on a single tank (drove from Jackson, WY to Denver, CO without stopping) which translated to 46.5 MPG. I'll post pics as soon as I can.....the entire drivers side is trashed as well as the left front where I hit the guardrail. Funny thing is the drivers air bag did not deploy, but the side curtain ones did when I rolled. Anyway, just thought I'd share.
