No one has broken a rod with the supercharger as far as I know.

CP is the only company that has pistons on the shelf for the 1NZ. All other companies like JE, Wiseco, Ross ect would have to have a custom set made. In either case all 4 companies mentioned are reputable in what they do.

We used Pauter rods on my build and we did have to notch the block.

i use crowers in my 630whp 240SX, never had any problems... they might be a bit over kill for lower power builds.. eagle rods are not too bad for the price... Pauter rods are crazy strong but they are tanks.
