Difference between 3 dr & Sedan

I've looked through eBay, Tien, Cusco and other websites selling lowering kits and they all say hatchback/liftback. I want to know if there's such a huge difference between the hatch/lift and sedan suspension. I know that the hatch is higher off the ground than the sedan, that's about it. I need to know if I can use the hatch/lift suspension kit on the sedan.
