Anyone else here with a JVC AVX77 HU?

Anyone else have a JVC AVX77 in the Yaris?

I can't find a dash kit that looks right with this thing. The front panel / detachable screen is a little large, but supposedly still a single-din size.

I've tried mounting it in a dual single-din / stacked ISO setup using this below it:

Unfortunately, it wouldn't work. The drawer protrudes too far out when closed and doesn't leave enough space for the AVX77's front to flip down. Also, the trim piece is right up against the top of the AVX77's front panel and the panel catches on that too.

Aaaargh. I just tried an American International, Metra and Scosche single-din kit and with all three, it just doesn't look or fit right.

When I use each kits' included ring / trim piece I can't push the front panel all the way in and even if I did, it wouldn't be able to flip down.

With each kit, if I use the AVX77's included trim piece, there are pretty visible gaps around its trim piece and the dash-kit.

I give up. I'm sending the AVX77 back and going with another Pioneer.
