How will coilovers hold up over the winter?

I would love to do a coilover setup this summer, but have no desire to be switching them out for winter use. The roads are more salt than pavement in the winter, how will they hold up? I would imagine if anything is going to get messed up it's the height adjusters which I can't imagine using.
