hadnt done it but i know people with those brand lights on other vehicles. they'll melt with just halogens in there, right where the light hits the plastic

i suppose you should keep it clean since light will pass through clear and reflect and heat up on whatever is on the lens...melting the lens.

idk man, to me i'd run a hella 90mm projector in there opposed to that projector, and then you'll never have a problem cuz the hella's have vents for heat.

How hard is it to put the Hella 90mm in those lights?

I'm looking to get a pair maybe, but I'm just not sure yet?

I would guess that they say not to do it based on the non-HID reflectors in them. The light pattern would be "illegal".

Hid and depo auto lights work just fine together. I have had an 8000k 35w kit for almost a year.

fit was ok, just at the top of the light it doesnt meet the fender as closely as OEM

i unplugged my drl module the first week i had the car...since i don't have factory foglights, it wasnt a problem.

i really doubt there's any difference between the two. and for the record just so noone's mislead, the halos arent nearly that bright in person (unless im the only one). They're actually clear plastic rings lit up by two leds and you have to be right up there to see them.

You can make them brighter but its a hell of an amount of work.

The angel eyes are really nice though and when matched with an 8000k hid kit they match and look very nice.

Yeah I didn't think there would be a difference. How hard is it to change out the LED's that light up the Halo's? On the back of the lights it looks like there is a bulb that you can change out for the Halo's.

the halo's are actually pretty dim in real life....i did the wiring for them in the daytime (hooked them up to the 3 LED's on each side) and had to shade each headlight to make sure they were working....

in real life the led's are about as bright as the halo's LOOK and the halos are about half as bright as the led's really are at night...
