DIY "Yarisworld" license plate frames

Ok soooo I wanted to rock the Yarisword name and I haven't had the chance to buy YW stickers for the windows .... also I wanted to get rid of the Dealerships' plate frames so I went to Auto zone and got a classic black metal frame with about a 1" lip at the bottom

then I went to Michaels' arts and crafts store and bought a pack of permanent adhesive vinyl letters that are... you guessed it..... 1" tall and in white

sooo I then simply stuck the letters onto the license place cover! It took a lil bit of eyeballing and a little bit of re-sticking but eventually got it pretty much centered!

The package on the stickers says "permanent adhesive" and "weather resistant" so ill keep everyone posted on how they hold up

here are some pictures and I will post some more when I put them on tomorrow

PS: thats my cats paw on the right .... he loves cameras!

So now every time I see a Yaris I swerve in front of them so they can hopefully see the YW in the back ..... did it to a white HB on the one near seaside yesterday! he had a shark looking sticker in the back windshield.... IDK if hes a member but at least he might know about it now!

BTW here are the pics of them installed ...

those are kewl..... plate frames like that are against the law here.... I had to modify mine to not cover the state's name otherwise I'd get a $200 fine and a moving violation :(

Are they reflective? Reflective letters would stand out a lot at night... (assuming that wouldn't be illegal or something)

I actually have a lil bit more leeway i think here .... BC i know that back in MD out of state tags didn't get bothered on illegal things such as tint or lack of a front plate... I guess the cops assumed that they'd follow their own states laws... hopfully its the same here :-D

Yea pretty much every state around us don't require a front plate. They were supposidly were going to enforce the tint law around here a lot more stricter even for out of staters.

8-Month update: These license plate covers are still holing up and look as good as the day that I put them on!

They even look this good after the 4,000 mile road trip that I took and a pretty salty winter! to tell you the truth I almost forgot about them till tonight
