Is there any advantage downsizing from 15 to 14" rims?

Hi to all bros, i am currently on 15inch 9.8 lb rim each. If i am to down size to 14inch 6.5lb rim each.

Are there any performance gain enough to worth the change? Anyone any advise??

will gain acceleration for lighter wheel/tires combo, smoother ride with taller tires, cheaper wheels and tires

but it will look small and there arent as many options for tires (at least in north america) at 14" sizing

I believe there is enough of different to feel it when downsize to 14inch. I am wondering does it worth the change?

unless the tires on your 15's are bald, i wouldnt take the time/money to swtich. i would swap next time you need tires, then just get new rims/tires in 14" and sell the 15's
