Which model has the digital dash?

Or is this an aftermarket addon? I've been looking everywhere and can't seem to find an answer. Thanks!

Those are found in some foreign markets as the stock clusters. Manufacturers determine the desired formats among different markets and will sometimes use either digital or analog. Most Americans prefer anolog gauges.

They "prefer" them because that's all the big 3 rams down peoples throats. They still use the blue and green tic-tac style look for the radios and controls they've had since the 1980's for petes sake.

It's stock standard in Australia on all Hatchback Yaris. It's not a US option and you can't get one from Australia and put it in yours as it would be facing the wrong way because Australia has right hand drive and the display is tilted towards the driver. (someone has tried this)

Not the answer you wanted to hear, but that's the facts.

Yep, I got it in my 2005 YRX (I figured out Australia got the current shape Yaris a year before the U.S). Comes with Tacho and all! Looks ridiculously similar to digital dash I had in my 1989 Supra...You'de think they could upgrade the 'graphics' to something a bit more futuristic than 80's green though.

Guess they stick to what works :)

It has nothing to do with what the American car companies are doing. All brands including the most luxurious and exotic all use analog for a reason. Digital is considered the cheap way out and trendy. Many American cars, particularly GM, put digital speedos in cars during the '80's and '90's and they went out of style. People have even complained that the current Civic uses a digital speedometer. Guaranteed Honda reverts back to analog for the next gen. Analog gives perspective of where you are and people find that desirable.

I would still buy a digital if the gave a choice myself, but I do agree with what you are saying.
