Simota Carbon SRI or Simota drop in?
I'm really torn between these two, so I decided to ask you guys your
opinions on both.

You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important. |

the filter is less restrictive than the factory material. I like that it is reusable, high flow and no risk of hydrolock vs a cai. For the amount of power the Yaris makes there is very little difrence. I had a air duct that went from the airbox right to the foglight cover with the simota airfilter and kept the box very cool. As far as sound it was a bit louder but not like a CAI

Yeah, I ended up going with the drop in filter. Thanks for the help
Just for fun the other day while cleaning off my stock filter, I decided to see what would happen if I drove a bit without a filter (it's not dusty at all in my area). So I did a few pulls down the road and I have to tell you, it was like night and day between a oem filter and no filter. Gobs of power and pull all the way up until you let off of the pedal. Sounded pretty mean too. After a few pulls, the stock filter went right back on where it belongs :)
