TPS sensor questions?

What can I expect if I run wheels without the TPS sensors on an 08' 3 dr.?
I just bought a used 3 dr. and want to put some chrome wheels but not mess with the stockers. Thanks

The warning light glaring at you is all. The TPWS ECU is completely independent of the rest of the systems in the car.

So if it's just a light I can cover that with black tape.
Whyat about just removing the bulb for the light?

BTW, the light for the TPS is shaped like a tire front profile. I pulled the lens off and put tape over it and the seatbelt light.
That green light in the pic shows when the headlights are on.

Got a different question, how do you eliminate the seat belt tones that happen over a certain speed. They stop eventually but I'd like them to be quiet all the time. Thanks

You can either remove the piezo beeper from the back of the cluster's circuit board, or they can be turned off using the Toyota TechStream tool. Some people have gotten their dealer to turn it off for them, others have had the dealer say that they can not due to liability.
