Asus Tranformer mounted in-car

Hey guys,

I've been debating to either do one of the following,

1. Buy a Pioneer AVIC indash navigation/dvd/music system. (500-700) range.

or

2. Get a decent single din deck (200) for music playback & get an Asus Transformer Tab (400) mounted in for navigation and movie playback. I'm a fan of google navigation and the IPS screen is bigger and brighter than anything the indash screen catagory.

Has anyone done this with another tablet or ipad?

Thoughts?
