SMOG Test
I need help from my fellow Yaris users in California. I am from Ohio and my adult sister will be using my Yaris HB in California for college. I will be transferring ownership to her. She needs to pass Smog Test to do this. My Yaris has air intake and new header. I heard that this is illegal in California. Is this true? If not, can this pass Smog Test as is? If yes, what can I do to correct this?
My original parts are in Ohio. Is it more cost effective to ship these parts or look for "junk" parts in California, if need be? Please advise. Your opinion will be appreciated.
