Favorite Car Magazines?
Hey guys,
Just wondering what car magazines you enjoy reading/have subscriptions for? I've bought a few to poke through them before, although most seem to be more about souped-up Civics and softcore porn than about actual cars and racing. Car and Driver seems to be nice, but I'd like some more. Any favorites of you guys? |

Haven't bought a normal car magazine in years. I gave away my collections of Car Craft, Hot Rod, Road & Track, etc, years ago. Every once in awhile I run across a copy of Practical Classics or somesuch, but the magazine shops here just stick to the usual crap about handicrafts, home decorating, and teen mags...
The only mag that I buy regularly is The Aeroplane; shows where my preferences lie!! |

modified.com they seem to have all the old SCC articles on their as well. Turbo is pretty decent for the tech stuff.
Grassroots motorsports is pretty fun to read through. For normal I prefer Car & Driver, for the articles, but they are all pretty similar. Autoweek is also great. I don't receive subs at the moment, the internet has everything I need.

Grassroots Motorsports, have known Tim Suddard for a long time, oh and Scott Lear did an article on my Wife in a past issue. She was featured in Meet A Member (NASA Speed News) February 2010!
Project Car, they do a lot of Old School and low buck mods!! racerb

Thanks guys, I'll check those out!
I like Autoweek too, but for some totally mystical reason the price for a year-scrip jumps from $30 in the US to $75 if you're in Canada...that just completely boggles my mind. Whatever though. |

we don't get a lot of choice here, I love the UK magazine Redline but that's been shut down... Usually I just grab at random what's available, as a rule of thumb if there's no half-naked chick on the cover, the content is pretty good :D
