this has me a bit confused... my car is 2005 and well they have a range from 2000-2004 and 2006-2009.

Where does mine fall????

You have a 2006-2009 by their standards. Your 2005 Vitz is the equivalent to a second generation Yaris for the US/Canada. Japan saw it in 2005. Canada got the 2nd gen for the 2006 model year and the US didn't get it until 2007.

Indeed. In his post in the "members' rides" thread you can see that it is a 2nd gen. On many of the Caribbean islands there are genuine JDM Vitz (and Belta).

I'm still selling parts on eBay under micro*image seller ID and customers can still make requests for anything specific.
