RS Or Rally spoiler

My current spoiler cracked over the winter and i don't want to replace it with the same one since they are ABS plastic. I REALLY want the RS or Rally spoiler that was discontinued. Looking for excellent used or dead stock from canadian dealership. Any help would be appreciated and i need this soon since i am looking into repainting the car(clearcoat is peeling)

There are a lot of RS "style" spoilers off eBay.
I bought one similar to these LINK1 LINK2.
You can search "Yaris Spoiler" on eBay yourself.
The rally ones are harder to find.

Got a pic of how/where is cracked? I just picked up one of them myself, so before I paint it, if there is an inherent issue, hopefully I can reinforce it.

I will try to get a pic tomorrow. Unfortunately there is no way to reinforce where it cracked, there is a clean split from front to back right down the middle. My opinion is that abs plastic is more brittle and a urethane model should be tougher. The only down side is now if i change spoilers that the holes will be in different places and i will have to plug the old ones.

I am thinking that it might make sense to drill some holes on the surface that mounts against the hatch and foam fill it to give it internal support.

spoiler damage

Here is pic of the damage, really freaky. i don't want to take a chance on another one but the other spoilers all attach far too differently so i guess i dont have much choice. wish i could find the canadian rally spoiler but no one on here will help....

Wow - That's quite a crack. I haven't even primed mine yet, so I think I will foam fill it.

Curious, did you bolt yours down to the car hatch?
I used 3M VHB tape for the whole underside and didn't screw any holes in the hatch. It's been 5 years and haven't had any problems yet.
I think this way allows the spoiler for some expansion/contraction without any tension that might otherwise cause it to crack.
You just have to be sure you install it straight because once it's on, it's (nearly) impossible to readjust.

you know i used the bolts and a pro grade adhesive which might have been overkill. i'm thinking that going the 3m tape route might be a better more flexible route as well. now i just have to figure out what to do about the paint job since the clearcoat is peeling....
