Canada? Online? GTA Area? Where can I buy parts?

I am having trouble locating suspension parts. I have been to three shops and I am faced with looks of disinterest when I ask for Yaris parts...

I would like to compare prices on basic 1" lowering kits. Springs, struts, and shocks. I would prefer not to have coilovers, I have heard from too many people that one Ontario winter and you can't adjust them anymore.

Are there online shops out there for Canada? What companies and what part numbers am I looking for?

Our dollar is crap again and shipping from the states looks too expensive.

No. We are pretty much forced to source from the US marketplace.

Outside of rockauto.com of OE replacement parts, http://toyotapartznet.com/ has been used by Canucks for TRD stuff. MicroImage had been a great source for aftermarket goodies at reasonable prices shipped to Canada, but alas, they don't really exist anymore outside of an ebay store. Proprietor claims that he can still be contacted regarding possibly providing parts.

Prices in the states are most often priced so much lower than identical items in Canada, that even with exchange, shipping, border fees and such, it is still cheaper to go that route.

I just order online for all my cars. I verify shipping and duty before hand and it's all prepaid, no additional surprise fees when I receive at this end. Usually I end up saving between 20-40%. Especially for German auto parts (Audi)
