My Car's manufacture date is 09/06, is that the first batch that came to the U.S.?

My canadian model had a born-on date of Feb 17 2007, picked it up April 3rd

my sedan's manufacture date is 11/06. that is why iam so confused if it is 2006 or 2007 model? we got it january 23, 2007. the company told us that it is a 2007 model. what do you think guys?

07, You normaly start seeing the next model year late in the present year.

Yeah its normal. Don't worry. It also depends on when you get your car. For example if you got your car late 07, more than likely it would have been manufactured in 07. If you got it early 07 then obviously it was manufactured late 06. You also have to remember the JDM version of the Yaris has been out for two years now (model years). For me personally my 03 ECHO was made in October 02 but I didn't get my car till March. There's more to it but I'm too lazy to write it

The excetion to the rule is new models... like the Yaris, my car was made 06/06, bought it on 7/16 and I got the first black one, I could have had one 2 months earlier if I would have settled for blazin blue.....

Another weird on is the PT cruiser debuted as the 01 model year, but you could buy them in 99

i picked mine up on apr 30th 2007 and it was made in japan ( KANTO AUTOWORKS) in feb. 2007

Mine was built in September of 2006 and we purchased it on OCtober 23, 2006. Is there any way to tell waht day of the week it rolled off the line?
