195/55/15 vs 205/55/15 which one to go for

Hi guys,

I have a vitz hatch 2009 and have 185/65/15 tires on it I am planning to change my tyres so I am confused should I go for 195/55/15 or 205/55/15 changing to any of these profiles will it damage my suspension or fuel economy and by how much I am totally new to this so kindly need your help guys give me your suggestions which one to go for and why.

It wouldn't damage your suspension as there is less rubber than your stock tires.

It will change your speedo a bit due to a change in overall tire circumference unless that circumference is listed as a stock size in the manual which I don't have handy right now

I ran 195/60r15s without issue. Switched to the stock 185/60r15 when I lowered my 07 sedan 2".

The 195s were more stable at highway speeds. I recommend 195s as long as your not planning on lowering your car too much.
