Automatic Bolt-on Turbo
Hi guys,i got a ncp42 vios[1nz-fe engine same with the scion xb]
I got my hand with a td04 turbo and an evo3 intercooler that fit well, but my question is can i bolt on a turbo without changing my injector and without an ignition timming tuning? After buying some piping, manifold, oil lines, blow off valve,actuator...i end up with my wallet having a huge diet and cannot afford to buy a good piggy back ecu,all i have now is a apexi safc[can tune the air/fuel ratio],so if i bolt on the turbo and use my safc to tune it would it be dangerous?or if i temporary running my car on low boost like 5psi?if can how much horsepower can 5psi give?and would it be any faster than stock? |
