Trying to run wires to headliner, w/ curtain airbags

Hey guys,

I'm trying to run some wires to the headliner from the dash for a project I'm currently working on but I have curtain airbags (air bags at the a-pillar) Does anyone know if they can be popped off? And if so is there a special way to do so without making the airbags deploy? I want to run the wires through there. I want to wrap up this project ASAP. Thanks in advance!

i took my a-pillar covers off to fix a queek. it can be done but the dash also has to be loosened. i will see if i can find the same picture again i used to reference but the main part is the top clip, be very carful as its designed to be used one and break.

follow this thread, there is a link on the first post for a Factory Repair Manual

http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1768

after u open the link, scroll to the bottom, 2nd last option will be interior and the question you are asking is available on page 40

the manual says its for 07 yaris but the example was the exact same as my 2010.
